Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Nexa X ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and the dashboard at this website (the "Service"), what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language.

The short version. You sign in with Google, and we keep your name, email address and profile picture. If you subscribe, Stripe handles your payment and we never see your card number. If you connect a Kalshi API key, we keep it encrypted and use it only for the purpose you connected it for. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

Usage and security records: the times you connect to the live forecasts, the Internet address (IP address) and browser type of each connection, and actions taken on your account by you or by our staff	To run the service, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse and investigate problems.
Spider settings and paper trading records: your paper account, its settings and the decisions and results it generates	To run the paper trading feature and show you your record. Paper money is not real money.
Kalshi connection (only if you add one): your Kalshi Key ID, your Kalshi private key (stored encrypted), and the result of the last check, including your account balance as Kalshi reported it	To check that your key works and to show you its status. See section 4.

2. Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to complete the Google sign-in securely. They are set as secure, HTTP-only cookies where your browser allows. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them.

3. How we use information

To provide, secure and improve the Service, and to give you the features of your plan.
To process subscriptions through Stripe.
To communicate with you about your account, billing and important changes to the Service.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
To comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to show you advertising.

4. Your Kalshi API key

If you connect a Kalshi key, we take these steps:

The private key is encrypted with AES-256 before it is saved, and it is tied to your account so it cannot be opened for anyone else.
It is sent to us, and from us to Kalshi, over encrypted HTTPS connections.
It is never shown to you again, never sent back to your browser, and never written to our logs.
We use it to check that it works (by asking Kalshi for your account balance), and for no other purpose without your separate, explicit permission.
You can remove it at any time from the Live tab. Removing it deletes it from our systems.

We recommend creating a key with only the permissions you need and never giving a key permission to transfer funds. You can revoke a key at any time on Kalshi, and doing so stops it working here immediately. We are not affiliated with Kalshi.

5. Google user data

Nexa X's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the basic profile information Google provides (name, email address, profile picture and account identifier) only to sign you in and operate your account. We do not transfer it to others except as needed to run the Service (section 6) or as required by law, and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Who else handles your information

Google, to sign you in.
Stripe, to take and manage payments.
Kalshi, only if you connect a key: we send it requests signed with your key.
Hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare, which carry traffic to and from the Service.
Authorities or advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

If the business is ever sold or reorganised, your information may move with it, and we would tell you.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account information while your account is open. Usage and security records are kept for as long as we need them to run and protect the Service. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal information, except what we must keep for legal, tax, security or fraud-prevention reasons. Paper trading decision logs may be kept in a form that no longer identifies you.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses. You can remove a connected Kalshi key yourself at any time, and you can sign out and clear cookies in your browser. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, encrypt sensitive credentials at rest, restrict who can reach administrative tools and keep records of administrative actions. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, private Google account and keep your own keys safe.

10. Children

The Service is for adults only. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International use

We may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the Service or by email.
